About the Maker: This tote bag is a collaboration between designer Serena Niesley, screen printer Two Minds Press, and Bartram's Garden.
Serena Niesley is an artist, illustrator, designer, and poet based out of Philadelphia, PA. Serena’s art practice is primarily in gouache, watercolor, and digital illustration, but also dips into other media such as fabric, film, and photography. In all of her work, she strives to draw a line between beauty, spirituality, and connections of nature and community. The images she creates are folk-inspired and deeply rooted in place.

Two Minds Press is Felicia - a designer, screen printer, and illustrator based in Philadelphia. She started Two Minds in 2018, creating original hand-printed apparel, accessories, and prints around themes of emotionality, wordplay, social justice, and radical joy.

About the Tote: This tote highlights many of the aquatic plants we have growing at Bartram's Garden around or in the pond of the botanic garden. They include: fragrant water-lily (Nymphaea odorata), swamp pink (Hellonias bullata), yellow pitcher plant (Sarracenia flava), and Venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula).
100% heavy cotton canvas tote measuring 19"x15" with a bottom gusset, reinforced at the stress points, and long woven handles.
