About the Artist: Sophie Strachan hails from the quaint dutch country town of York, Pennsylvania. She relocated to Philadelphia, PA in 2007 to pursue her degree in Fine Art at Moore College of Art & Design. As a self-described "neuro-divergent artist and weirdo", her career is seemingly haphazard, yet purposeful. Sophie’s main drive in life and work is to be creative, have fun, and make a positive impact on the world.

About the Stickers: Three vinyl stickers included in this pack, designed especially for Bartram's Garden. Sticker pack includes:

Monarch & Milkweed Sticker: Monarch butterflies and common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) have a special relationship. By observing a single milkweed plant, it’s possible to observe the full life cycle of a monarch—from eggs, to larvae, to adult butterflies! Head to the meadow at Bartram’s to see for yourself!

Bloodroot Sticker: An early sign of Spring, this white flower has been spread throughout our garden by ants! Ants can’t resist climbing the plant for a taste of the bright reddish-orange sap, inevitably spreading its seeds as they navigate back to their underground colonies.

Wild Turkey Sticker: A long-time inhabitant of this continent, with fossil records dating back over five million years, wild turkeys frequently make their home at Bartram’s Garden! Look for them roaming the garden or roosting in trees on late summer evenings at the garden.
