Culture notes: This annual twining vine is most notable for its lantern-esque green papery seed capsules. Commonly called Love-in-a-Puff for the heart shaped marking on the ripened seed, it drapes beautifully along a fence. Nick the seed coat with a file before sowing, cover by 1/2" either in site or in pots. 7-21 days to germination.
